Nicknames

"Have you ever heard of person nicknamed "Bob" whose actual name is "Robert"??" or

"Polly, Patsy, Peggy, and Nancy are actually nicknames for Mary, Martha, Margaret, and Ann, respectively."

Its kinda confusing but interesting as well. In English the nicknames may not always tell you the real name of the person. After doing some googling I got this interesting info. Some excerpt
